For just £5 you can burn off all your pre-match energy and raise some money for your local sports club…

With a summer of World Cup football on the horizon what better way to ignite some well earned funds into your local sports club than participating in The Manchester United Foundation Summer Dash?

The Foundation is inviting all sports teams in the area to participate in a sponsored run around Old Trafford on World Cup Final day - 11th July.

Whether it’s a new set of goal posts, bibs or rackets, you can use this unique fund-raising event to experience a day your team won’t forget.

Damian Preston Under 7s Coach AFC Urmston Meadowside participated with his team last year. He said: "The kids loved it. The highlight of the day was getting to run down the Players’ Tunnel and round the pitch. As a Club we had about 200 players and coaches take part and we raised almost £4,000 towards our new Clubhouse."
