The colourful images of Wayne Rooney, Javier (Chicharito) Hernádez, Rio Ferdinand, Nani and Ryan Giggs, were created by the artist as part of Turkish Airlines’ ‘Passenger Portraits’ campaign and giant versions of the iconic images have been displayed on the windows of the stadium's East Stand over the past few weeks.

Each of the players has coloured and signed their own portraits and these unique versions are being auctioned to raise money for the Foundation.

‘I really like the portrait Craig has created of me,’ said Rio Ferdinand. ‘I think the campaign is a great idea and the paintings are really eye catching. They have definitely brightened up Old Trafford! We all had fun creating our own versions of our portraits and I hope they raise plenty of money for The Foundation.’

 ‘My portraits are always of people I respect or admire, whether they are friends or celebrities and this project falls right into that category," commented Craig Redman. "Being able to draw the world’s best players from Manchester United is an absolute honour, they are an inspiration to millions of people and I’m lucky to be able to celebrate that with my work.’
